Feeling like something is stuck? You’ve tried courses, workshops, and different therapy methods — but did it all stay at the level of “talk,” never touching the root of the pain, never really moving forward?
Carrying blocks, fears, anger, or struggles in your relationships and marriage that weigh on you and hide the true joy of life from you?
Feeling that your calling is to counsel and heal, but lacking the confidence? You’ve always been the one everyone comes to for advice — yet you feel lost among countless modern methods, and you’re missing a structured toolbox for going out into the world and counseling others with confidence.

Come discover true healing — from the root of the soul.

Counselor Training in the Yichuda Method

Turn your calling into a profession for life

  • A deep personal process
  • A one- or two-year track
  • Tools that work, a profession for life

A focused one-year track, or a deeper two-year track, for building a career with a soul and a sense of purpose.
This is the place for anyone who feels called to counsel, heal, and help — and for anyone who wants to take the journey themselves.
The Yichuda method grows out of the pure wellsprings of Kabbalah and Chassidut — the Torah’s inner, mystical teachings — uncovers ancient tools, and joins body and soul in a life of health, harmony, self-realization, and a sense of mission.

Who is the course for?

Understand. Heal. Discover. Yourself.

Give yourself a year of diving inward — meeting your true self, the recesses of your subconscious, your hidden motives. These insights will keep lighting your way at every meaningful crossroads.

Walking the Path of the Tree of Life

There is an order to how the soul heals. It is woven into creation and into the human being — it only needs to be uncovered and followed. The Yichuda method joins knowledge with practice and creates real change in your life.

To Help, Guide, Counsel, and Heal

We see an enormous need for counselors who can bring real change into people’s lives. If you want to be certain the guidance you give is true, helpful, and healing — you belong with us!

The Program

The curriculum is built in graduated stages, combining personal development with professional training. At Yichuda College we bring something new to the world of therapy and counseling: we do not settle for theories, but work in a structured way toward balancing and healing the soul — a precise synthesis of the inner wisdom of Kabbalah and the depth of Chassidic teaching, the clear light of the Baal Shem Tov’s teachings, many hours of clinical experience in the field, and a complete connection of body, breath, and nigun (soulful melody).

Knowing Myself — an In-Depth Map of the Soul Assessment

Learn to read a person’s inner world with precision and understand their mental and emotional structure through the map of the Ten Sefirot (the soul’s ten powers), together with their date of birth and name. You’ll know exactly where the block is rooted and exactly what guidance they need.

Foundations of Kabbalah — Treasures of the Torah’s Inner Dimension

Drink deeply from the wellsprings of Kabbalah and Chassidut and acquire precise tools for emotional clearing, stress regulation, and releasing blocks — along with skills for learning and personal growth.

Compassionate Communication — Practicum and Couples Counseling

Build a therapeutic language and a way of communicating that hands the client real tools — so they become “their own healer” and can keep growing on their own.

This is what will happen for you
by the end of the course:

Yichuda College’s comprehensive Counselor Training track is a journey of personal turnaround, close mentoring, and practical tools for leading others to growth and inner healing. Your calling and your personal tikkun (inner repair) are waiting just beyond the door.

Marriage, Love, and Human Relationships

The personal process you undergo at the college removes blocks and stuck places in your relationships, and reopens the way to a healthy, loving marriage. The language you acquire will give you tools for deep, honest communication and bring more harmony into all your relationships.

Success in Your Calling — Material and Spiritual

You’ll finish not with “nice ideas” but with a defined toolbox, professional confidence, and a clear course of action for opening a practice and working as a professional counselor. You’ll be able to truly help those who need it — to balance, to heal, and to guide.

Peace of Mind and Self-Mastery

Through the ancient tools of Kabbalah and Chassidut you’ll learn to regulate stress, release fears and anger, calm destructive impulses, choose the good, and reach true inner balance and calm.

A True Way to Help Yourself and Others

With the kabbalistic models, the spiritual and emotional guidance, an ordered understanding of the soul’s processes, and the technique of hitbonenut (Jewish meditation), you’ll be able to work through crises and struggles — your own and other people’s.

Rabbi Dror Shaul

Rabbi Dror Shaul

Founder and director of Yichuda College, emissary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in Dharamsala, India

Rabbi Dror was born and raised in Jerusalem, and from a young age traveled widely across Israel and the world, drawn to mysticism, spirituality, and understanding the soul. After his service in the Israeli army — as a combat soldier, a survival instructor, and a medic in the Paratroopers Brigade — he set out on a journey through India, where he reconnected with his Jewish identity. Back in Israel, he studied Kabbalah and Chassidut in several yeshivas, while also completing a full course of study in naturopathy.

About five years later, after marrying Michal, he returned to India as a Chabad emissary, and in 5760 (2000) the two of them founded the Chabad House of Dharamsala in northern India. Alongside it, he founded Yichuda College in Israel. For more than 27 years Rabbi Dror has been teaching and lecturing on Jewish psychology, meditation, and movement — in India, in Israel, and around the world — and he is the author of “Hitbonenut in Ma’aseh Merkavah” (a practical guide to Jewish meditation) and “Lech Lecha Dharamsala” (his personal story and journey of inner healing).

Rebbetzin Michal Shaul

Rebbetzin Michal Shaul

Emissary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe in Dharamsala, counselor of the inner life, and couples and individual therapist

Rebbetzin Michal grew up on Mount Carmel, was educated at a religious girls’ high school in Kfar Pines, and completed a bachelor’s degree in special education and Jewish studies at a college in Jerusalem, while immersing herself in the writings of Chassidut. After her marriage, together with her husband Rabbi Dror, she began leading workshops in creative expression, movement, hitbonenut, and guidance for inner journeys — both privately and in groups.

Alongside raising her large family, Rebbetzin Michal writes poetry, gives lectures, and mentors couples on the path to a better marriage; in recent years she has focused on developing and applying movement in the light of the holy Hebrew letters and on translating spiritual content into dance improvisation.
